Rita Schwartz
Rita was by beloved late wife. Our first date was at the Pumps on 12* restaurant in the Town of Pines, Indiana. She died on June 2, 2021. I think of her every day.
Unfortunately, I still recall the nightmarish hellscape that she went through at the end with her horrific medical issues. I wish I could forget that.
*At the greeter's podium inside of Pumps on 12 was a framed page from a magazine. I do not recall the magazine. The page was entitled, "Celebrities' Favorite Restaurants". On that page was listed the favorite restaurant of Larry King (of CNN fame). His favorite restaurant was "Pumps on 12, Town of Pines, Indiana."
